Our Commitment to God

Dear Beloveds,

Our commitment is critical to see the manifestation of the promise of God.

Commitment: This is a state of personal dedication to something or someone; it’s a personal decision that results in actively promoting and working for their well-being.

A. Commitment to God arises from faithfulness in God’s promises, expressed in worship and adoration, and leads to obedience to his commands:

The Church is struggling in these areas

  • To trust God.
  • To Commit to God.
  • A good spiritual life.

The nature of the struggle

  • Conforming to the patterns of this world or transformation to God’s will.
  • Being carnal or being spiritual.

Two types of people in the church

  • A Carnal Person Is a person who has withdrawn and stopped growing.
  • B. He will make all kinds of excuses for why he can’t grow.
  • A Spiritual Person Is a man who has taken on Christ and is growing daily.

What will you do with the church?

  • Will we attack ( our attitude can cause us to attack the church and lose our commitment)
  • Will we neglect the church (will we neglect to support the church when help is needed)
  • Will we quit the church (will we quit the church when problems occur)

Your decision

Romans 12:2

  • 2 And be not conformed (molded)to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God is.

God is committed to his word

Isaiah 55:6

  • 6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found; call ye upon him while he is near:
  • 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Beloveds, we must stay committed to God.

God bless, Apostle Rogers
